Blake was very professional and accommodating when it came to time schedules and looking at homes. He answered every question I could conceive within a matter of minutes of texting or calling (even if I called him at 7 at night!). He knew and understood the process so well, and had such great connections with lending partners and home warranty people that we had all the paper work and prerequisites completed an entire week before our closing deadlines, while saving us a bunch of money! Not only did they help us find a perfect home, but we had a lot of fun doing it. We had specific needs: Close to the college campus, strict price range, etc. They helped us find all of these things. They knew which areas of the city were safer and also helped us find somewhere that was accessible to public transportation. Sonya understands how to interact with you to meet your particular wants/needs/style. You are different than someone else, and Sonya tailors her response to meet your needs, not demanding the other way around. I cannot recommend her enough.

Our search area spanned farther than most. Our realtors Blake and Sonya understood that we were trying to find the perfect house for our family and provided service above and beyond. We had a budget to stay within and wanted to make the most of our investment. By pulling comparables and weighing out the value of square footage and the quality of the homes they were able to provide us comfort in knowing when there was a good deal. Their experience negotiating also provided us with the ability to move in sooner than expected, to have some repair issues remedied, and have the seller provide more value in the sale by assisting with closing costs and providing us with appliances of concern due to the cost such as front loading washer and dryer to remain with the house due to a washroom built for it’s accommodation. I would highly recommend the Smithing Group.

Unfortunately our process took us quite a bit longer than most. Blake and Sonya couldn’t have been more patient and helpful. We looked at our first home in Sept. of 2014 and didn’t end up purchasing until July 2015. We never heard them complain and anytime we found a house or needed additional help or advice, they were also there, prompt and ready. Poor Blake probably showed us 20+ homes before we found the perfect one. When it came to negotiating, he helped us get below our targeted budget and overall, we couldnt have asked for better agents to represent us.
